IR(A or H) Non-Approved Courses
£450.00 – £988.00
These courses are only suitable if you do not have to do an EASA approved IR theory course. You may be exempt from that requirement if you are a qualified military pilot, converting an ICAO licence to an EASA one, or you are retaking elapsed exams. If you are not sure, then please contact us before purchasing.
The basic course includes CBT only, using the EASA 2020 syllabus; it does not include the online revision courses. However, if you feel that you would benefit from classroom tuition, you can always purchase a slot on our online ATPL revision courses for the IR subjects and/or purchase access to our online or pre-recorded webinars. Before you purchase these, we recommend that you speak with our training advisor (see the contact us page).
There are three versions of the course depending on your current EASA or UK CAA licence type. Each variation includes our computer based training App ATPdigital and a 12 month subscription to BGSonline (please note your subscription starts from the date of course enrolment). Please note you will not get full access to BGSonline, the question bank will reflect the subjects that are included within your course.
Printed training materials – If you would like to combine your online learning with traditional training methods we can supply you with a set of printed training manuals in ring binders as an optional extra. The content of the manuals is broken down by subject and chapter, with thousands of diagrams supplementing the text, and highlighted call-outs emphasising important facts.
If you decide you would like to join the online ground school please contact our Training Advisor and we can provide you with more information about how to take part. We are a UK CAA and Austro Control examination centre so, subject to availability, you could sit your exams at our training centre.
