Bristol Groundschool (BGS) has proven to be an outstanding provider for me, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to any pilots pursuing their ATPLs. As a midlife career changer and after initially enrolling at one of the larger integrated flight schools I found their delivery lacking and rushed. Switching to BGS for distance learning was the best decision I made. The ATPdigital app delivers the content in a clear, structured, and engaging way that makes even complex topics far more accessible, whilst giving me the ability to approach it at a pace and time frame that suited my life commitments and learning methods best.
One of the very positive aspects I found of BGS is the revision weeks. These sessions were incredibly effective for solidifying understanding and provide a chance to learn from highly knowledgeable, engaging instructors whilst allowing you to connect with fellow students. I often found that topics I had struggled with started to become clear thanks to the instructors’ expertise and ability to explain things well, as well as other students novel ways of approaching subject matter.
What truly sets BGS apart is the outstanding support throughout the entire course. Whether it was the friendly and approachable TKIs or the support staff, there was always someone available to assist, answer questions, and keep motivation high during what is undoubtedly a demanding journey.
