Could be worse

Pros: 1) walking distance to BGS 2) plenty of rooms, thus unlikely to book up 3) rooms are clean and provided with big desk Cons: 1) expensive compared with local b&bs 2) no WiFi in room (although there is in the bar) 3) road leading up to it has no lights or pavement 4) its rather bleak 5) breakfast not started until 8am, so its a rush to get to class on time Overall: if you can, book a local b&b. But if you're without a car and nothing else is around, this will be OK.

Within walking distance

First review says the essential. Warren's Village's location is quite good, only around 10 minutes walk to the school. However the route to the school is very narrow and has a plenty of traffic. Prepare with flashight and reflectors during dark time of the year. Rooms are clean and ok. Free internet is available only at the club house. Don't expext to work at the club house during evenings, usually quite noisy. Propably no point to pay higher price for the superior room, there is not much added value.

stay away

when you look at their website you get an impression that those nice looking self catering lodges are the ones offered as a standard. This is not the case - what you actually get for the standard rate is a small little lodge the size of a caravan with very basic equipment.. it is definitely not self catering, there's no stove, no cookers, nothing you can use to prepare a meal or even to serve it. What you do get is a kettle and a couple of mugs, that's it! Poor value for money. Car hire is cheap in Bristol airport, do yourself a favor, hire a Micra and go somewhere you have room to actually lay out your charts

The first room I was given was filthy. Mess all over the toilet, the sink was grubby and there was dirt all over. The second room was marginally better. For the price, it was not value for money, and I'd advise against staying here.

Don’t bother

Close by but no pavement to walk along and unlit road to navigate. Not great in the winter. Nowhere to cook and they don’t even let you borrow a plate and cutlery from the restaurant. Rooms are basic caravans. Less than helpful staff.

Well worth it

Clean, tidy and most importantly quiet, allowing plenty of undisturbed study. The WiFi reaches all the accommodation and there is plenty of bandwidth. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Expensive for what it was

Is Ok, chalet with bed, £49 a night though so very expensive for what it is, very close to the school so it has that. They wouldn't let me check out late without paying extra, even though the place was half empty, so if you have an exam in the afternoon & want to spend the morning revising, expect to spend most of the day sat in the car, would think given how many people come here for the exams they might be a tad more accommodating but sadly no. Breakfast was a mess, pre paid, little ticket said served till 10am, my exam at 1pm so went for breakfast at 9.35am, they stopped serving, no refund, so advise buy breakfast as you go don't pre pay (same price anyway).

Not bad, maybe a bit expensive

Not as bad as some of the reviews on here would have you believe, maybe they were unlucky or it's improved, but room was clean, plenty of space and peace to study (I had a double room, not sure what others are like). Wi-Fi was fine in my room, not superfast but good enough, breakfast was good and there's a decent basic restaurant on site. Very convenient for BGS if you're walking. Having said that I'd probably go for one of the B&Bs on here next time as I paid about twice as much as them, but it was one of the only places available at the short notice I booked.
